Football Defensive Player of the Week
Maureik Goode, Ferrum - The Powhatan, Virginia junior linebacker was in on 11 tackles in a 46-21 victory over USA South rival Greensboro. Goode made three solo tackles which assisting on eight other take downs. He also accounted for two tackles for a loss of 15 yards, including a ten-yard sack. Also Nominated: Kyle Chewning, Maryville; Troy Glover, Methodist; Bryan Vaughan, Christopher Newport; Logan Smyth, Averett.
